What is it?
Glyphosate is a chemical compound of Monsanto’s pesticide, Roundup. Glyphosate has been implicated in increases in cancer and endocrine disorders in humans. AMPA is a byproduct of the degradation of Glyphosate and is also implicated in numerous health issues.
FDA regulations say that Glyphosate is allowed in certain human food products in levels of 1-310ppm, while pet food ingredients can contain levels as high as 400ppm. Meanwhile, scientific studies on rats show that Glyphosate causes fatty liver disease in levels above 1.1ppb.
